Just bought a Holux m-241 Wireless Data logger and got it to work well with BT747 Opensource Data Logger software on the Mac. It’s awesome. The Holux unit runs on a single AA battery and provides a simple interface with good functionality through the built in LCD screen and doesn’t need a computer just to configure it.

Sugru coated goodness..
Tired of looking for ways to waterproof my wood based projects. Its needs to be
1) Done without a mess
2) Easy to apply with minimum fuss.
Got it done with Sugru.. heres the project with its sugru coated goodness.
Mintyboost v2 + Sugru
Made a mistake of accidentally plugging in a 12V DC into an old LiPo charging circuit and blew the board. Had to salvage the parts and realized that the older MintyBoost v2 board was still working fine. A little bit of handiwork and a 2xAA battery holder brought the device back to life again.
Using Sugru as the modeling clay to protect the electronics of the MintyBoost, the kids came up with a charger the shape of an animal… and this is going to belong to them.
Lego Gatling Gun
This is my version of a Lego NXT Gatling gun. The MindStorms instructions for Shooter didn’t work out (kept crashing) and i had to find a way to build a shooter to appease my kids.
